Wakatere Canoe Club Entertains

FINAL DANCE EXHIBITION ITEMS GIVEN On Saturday evening the Wakatere Canoe Club held its final dance at the Narrow Neck Hall. Devonport. During the evening exhibition dances •were given by Air. and Mrs. Clyde Howlev. Acting as chaperones were: —Airs. Wine', in a gown of oyster grey; and Airs. Hunt, who wore biscuit crepe de cliine. Thurston, shell pink georgette anil silver lace; .lis. Crabb, gold crepe de chine anil lace. Miss Stewart chose an ankle-length frock of blue ninon; Miss \. James, ciel blue tulle; Miss J. Brooke, ecru frilled net and scarlet; Miss I*. Best, tioral ninon; Miss Gwen Keith, white crepe de chine: Miss V. Bowen, apricot taffeta; Miss I*. Thomson, heliotrope satin with frilled skirt of green tulle; Miss r>. Brooke, flame velvet; Miss H M llliamson, beige crepe de chine; Miss Joan Best, floral georgette; Miss libert, lemon crepe de chine; Miss E. Hunt, mauve georgette and silver lace; Miss .Tovce Bond, blue crepe de chine; Miss Audrey Ivil, salmon velvet; Miss Letts, black net appliqued in colours; Miss J.
