Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. Wally Kilminster won the special match race at the opening of the Kilbirnie Stadium speedway on Saturday'. In the first distance Kilminster led for two laps, when passed by his opponent, C. R. Mackenzie, who led until his machine fouled in the last lap. Kilminster spurted forward and won. In the second distance Mackenzie led all the way and, although he nearly fell at one period, he came in first.
