HIS FOURTH FINE

MILITARY PROSECUTION A Defence Department representative in the Onehunga Police Court this morning told Mr. F. 11. Levien, S.M., that a young man, Walter L. Harlick, who was charged with failing to attend parade, had been fined on three occasions—twice for failing to drill and once for not returning a rifle. Sergeant Cruickshank said accused, who lived close to the drill hall, simply would not attend. He had promised to make amends, if given another chance. Harlick was fined £5.
