“ALWAYS GOOD”
New Zealand Produce Shown in England SHOPKEEPERS IMPRESSED During a 5,000 miles motor tour through England, Mr. F. W. Sutton, a Hawera merchant, saw something of the increased demand for New Zealand butter and meat. “I was greatly taken with the way In which New Zealand produce is being put on the market at Home,'’ he said last evening on the Aorangi. “Throughout England, in the cities and in the provinces, I saw large signs such as 'Buy New Zealand Lamb.’ These were very noticeable. The butchers especially had some wonderful displays. Butter, too. was well to the fore. Quite frequently I saw New Zealand, Danish and English butter side by side in the shops and everywhere I was told of the big demand for our produce.” Butchers in Brighton and Plymouth, two of the larger towns Mr. Sutton visited, told him that New Zealand could always be depended on. They could always depend on New Zealand lamb and a grocer informed him that evidently New Zealand always sent her best products to the English market. “Your goods don't vary,” they told him. “The quality is always good.”
