JAMES THEATRE Now Playing: Jim Gerald Revue Company. COMING Hector St. Clair Revue Company. “Lido Lady." CONCERT CHAMBER December 4,5, 6 and V. —Auckland Little Theatre Society, triple bill.
High praise has been awarded to Herbert Browne, the tenor, who plays i the important part o£ Sid El Kar (the Red Shadow’s Lieutenant) in the big J. C. Williamson musical production, “The Desert Song.” Those who heard this popular young singer in “The Merry Widow,” “Wildflower,” “Chu Chin Chow,” and more recently in “The Student Prince,” are of the opinion that his voice is now even better than it was when he played in the productions mentioned. In “The Desert Song” he has opportunities of showing the capacity of his voice in “The Riding Song of the Riffs,” and in "One Flower in Your Garden.”
