GRAND AND LYRIC
“THE IRON MASK” D’Artagnan and his three faithful friends ride again through the thrilling adventures of love, war and intrigue, which the whole world knows so well, in Douglas Fairbanks’s newest picture, ‘•The Iron Mask,” which is now at both the Grand and Lyric Theatres. From beginning to end the picture is filled with daring ventures and breath-taking episodes, such as only Dumas could conceive and only his superman could execute.
Hot for one moment does the tempo of the picture relax in its speed. Scenes of rash courage, breath-taking daredeviltry, boisterous comedy, sinister conspiracy and tender love follow each other in thrilling succession. From the first foot of the story to the last fadeout, there Is not one moment which does not enthrall the beholder. Tha bright supporting programme at both theatres is headed by the film "Fort of Missing Girls.” At the Grand Theatre only, an entertaining vaudeville item is presented by ‘■The Lytteltons.”
