Successful Dance for Bazaar Funds
Northcote Ladies’ Guild Orga n ises Even ing AMUSING COMPETITION A most successful dance in aid of the forthcoming bazaar funds organised by the .Ladies’ Guild of fat. John s Anglican Church, Northcote, was held in the Parish Hall last evening. The dancers each represented the name of a booh, and a competition tor ’naming the most characters represented was won by Miss A'. Harrisson, and Mr. F. Hades, while Mrs. A. brant and Mr. P. Minns won the consolation prizes. Canon H. J. McFarland piesen ted the prizes. The dance music was supplied by Mr. Mayall, while Miss Phyllis Johnstone’s songs and the elocutionary items given by Mr. P. Minns were greatly appreciated. Mr. A. Hardmge officiated as M.C. . . .
