MOTOR-CAR DRIVER ADMITS NEGLIGENCE REMANDED FOR SENTENCE Herbert Biddulph, aged 25, the driver of the car, which crashed into a telegraph pole on Great South Road, near Penrose, on the night of September 14, when two passengers were killed, pleaded guilty to negligent driving, causing death, at the conclusion of the Supreme Court sitting yesterday afternoon. Biddulph, an Otahuliu labourer, was awaiting trial when he reversed his plea. He was remanded until tomorrow morning for sentence.
