SCHOOL OF THEOLOGY

OPENING SESSIONS HELD More than 50 ministers, home missionaries and deaconesses attended the opening session of the Presbyterian summer school of theology, held in St. David’s Church, Khyber Pass, yesterday. The three introductory lectures were of high order, and created considerable interest. The Rev. D. C. Herron commenced a study of the “Book of Jeremiah,” giving an outline of the rise and development of prophecy, and the Rev. J. Collie, of Queenstown, who has lectured at each of the former eight schools, began a series of addresses on ‘‘The Gospel According to Mark. At the afternoon session the TrSi** J* Hubba rd gave an address on The Church’s Youth Work.”
