OBTAINING CREDIT
ALLEGED BANKRUPTCY BREACH SUPREME COURT TRIAL Four charges under the Bankruptcy Act were preferred against Arthur Douglas Wylie, who stood his trial in the Supreme Court this afternoon before Mr. Justice Smith. Wylie was charged with obtaining credit to the extent of £540 from Auckland and Southern firms without ; disclosing the fact that he was an undischarged bankrupt. Th* Crown offered no evidence on i two additional counts of a similar j nature. A further charge of theft |of £2 16s 3d was also preferred ! against him. i Mr. Hubble prosecuted and Mr. i Noble appeared for accused. (Proceeding.)
