[ SOUTHERN PRINCESS LEAVES From Our Own Correspondent DUNEDIN, Today. j Shortly after midday yesterday the i whaler Southern Princess, accomj panied by her chasers, left Port j Chalmers for the Ross Sea. On board was Captain W. W. Stuart, who will act as New Zealand’s representative iin the Ross Sea. Thirty labourers, who have been engaged for the trip j on a wage and share basis, were also I carried. During the off-season the chasers will return to Port Chalmers, but the j Southern Princess herself will bunker at Wellington and take her load of oil to America or Europe. afterward spend- ; iug the rest of the season in Norway.
