CECIL RHODES CLUB

PAPATOETOE BRANCH The secretary of the Papatoetoe branch of the Cecil Rhodes Club, reported at a meeting held on Tuesday evening, that IS members had enrolled in the tennis club, and arrangements had been made for the club to play on Mr. A. G. Grinter’s court in Boundary Road. It was decided to make inquiries regarding the formation of a Badminton club, and a special committee was appointed to report on the cost of equipment, etc. The treasurer reported that receipts for the past year totalled -£57, and .£25 had been expended in donations. The credit balance of the club at present stands at £2 15s.
