PAPATOETOE BY-ELECTION
RESULT OF THE POLL A by-election was held yesterday to fill the vacancy on the Papatoetoe Town Board, caused by tlie death of Mr. G. Hosking. Mr. J. Franklin, a former member and chairman of tlie board, was elected. The voting was as fellows:—J. Franklin, 161; J. E. elosey, 117; E. R. Burton, S 5.
