WORK IN SOUTH SEAS
TALK BY MISSIONARY An interesting lecture, illustrated by lantern slides, was given by Mr. Robert Mcßride in the Municipal Hall. Xewmarket, last evening, on the work of the South Sea evangelical mission in the Solomon Islands. Mr. Mcßride spent 18 years among the tribes of the islands, and was able to explain in a graphic manner their customs and superstitions.
