BEACHHAVEN CABARET
The Beaclihaven Cabaret will reopen for the new season on Saturday evening. The “Carolina Four” Jazz Band will provide the music, the floor is excellent, and Beachhaven should prove as popular a rendezvous this year as last. On Saturday afternon also the Richmond Cruising Club will hold boat races at Beachhaven. A Blue Star bus meets 7 p.m. ferry from Auckland and leaves Highbury Corner at 7.30, returning to Birkenhead after the dance.
