TOWN HALL, THURSDAY NEXT Rehearsals are well forward for the two big pieces to be given by the Auckland Choral Society in the Town Hall on Thursday, November 7 (tomorrow week). The pieces are, “Stabat Mater” and “Cavalleria Rusticana,” to be given with leading soloists, full chorus arid orchestra, all under the conductorship of Mr. Colin Muston. The soloists are Miss Kate Campion, soprano; Miss Molly Atkinson, mezzosoprano: Mr. Arthur Ripley, tenor: Mr. Ernest Snell, baritone; and Mr. Arthur Colledge. basso. The box plans open at Stong’s on Monday morning next.
