HOLIDAY IN TARIFFS
CONFERENCE AT GENEVA IN FEBRUARY British Official Wireless Reed. 11 a.m. RUGBY, Sunday. The British Government has informed the Secretariat of the Lee sue of Nations that, in view of the importance of -the conference to be held at Geneva in February on the subject of a holiday In tariffs, Mr. William Graham, president of the Board of Trade, will head the British delegation. Mr. Graham, interviewed last night, said the whole subject of the conference was to reduce the proposals for a tariff truce to practical form, and it was felt that a better chance of success was assured by the personal attendance of a Minister. Mr. Graham added that he was optimistic as -to the result of the conference.
