BRIAND ACCEPTS POST
FOREIGN MINISTER IN NEW CABINET DALADIER’S SUCCESS Reed. 11 a.m. PARIS, Sunday. The Socialist deputies, for the first time in 15 years, have consented to form a Coalition Government with the Radical-Socialists, if the National Council of Socialists gives its consent. The ex-Premier, M. Briand, has accepted the Foreign Office, which, it is believed, assures M. Daladier’s success in that department.
