PHAR LAP'S YOUNG BROTHER FOR 4,000 GUINEAS

TyjIGHT RAID, as a result of Phar Lap's Derby win, and Nightmarch's Epsom success, Has caused a Sydney firm to inquire after the English stallion. The price quoted for Night Raid has not been disclosed, but it is understood that it was in the region of £IO,OOO. Mr. A. F. Roberts also quoted a yearling colt, a full-brother to Phar Lap, at 4,000 guineas. A cablegram was received from Sydney this week requesting Mr. Roberts to keep this offer open until the youngster is inspected by a prospective buyer. To this Mr. Roberts agreed, and the visitor is expected next week.
