ST. GEORGE'S ROWING

Tho forty-sixth annual general meeting of tho St. George’s Lowing Club xvas held last evening. Mr. V. Hargreaves presided, and there was a good attendance of members. The report and balance-sheet as presented were adopted. The following ten new members were elected:— R. H. Barry, P. Williams, J. Lorton, H. E. Jackson, V. J. Clark, , Wood. A. J. Gallagher, It. R. Gaither, •!. K. H. Bins. (n. Bias. Tho election of oflicers resulted as follows:—Patron, Sir J. H. B. Coates; vice-patron, Mr. A. S. Bankart; commodore, Mr. H. W. Hudson; vice-com-modores. tho same as last year, with the addition of Messrs. Q. Ft. Poole, • S- Symons; captain, Mr. V. Dunne; deputy-captain, Mr. T. M. V. Morton; assistant-secretary, Mr. J. Biss; hon. treasurer, Mr. fcs. Hislop; committee, Messrs. J. Coote, W. L. Carr, C. D’Anthreau, I. Duncan, F. Solomon; selection committee, Messrs. V. Dunne, V. Hargreaves, T. M. V. Morton; delegates to Auckland Rowing Association, Messrs. V. Dunne, V. Hargreaves, T. M. V. Morton; hon. solicitor. Mr. A. M. Goulding: hon. auditors, Messrs. A. J. Emery. T. A. Goulding. Mr. V. Dunne outlined tho committee’s actions regarding the new clubhouse. and a very useful discussion ensued, recommendations being made to the incoming officers.
