BISHOP OF AOTEAROA
VISIT TO OTOROHANGA From, Our Own Correspondent OTOROHANGA, Today. The Right Rev. F. A. Bennett, Bishop of Aotearoa, accompanied by his diocesan chaplain, the Rev. H. K. Pou. of Te Kuiti, visited Otorohanga yesterday afternoon. He was entertained at afternoon tea by the St. Bride’s Anglican Church congregation nnd Mr. F. O. R. Phillips, chairman of the Otorohanga Torn Board. welcomed the bishop on behalf of the residents. The Bishop preached at St. Bride’s Church in the evening, choosing as his text, “Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters.” Tie concluded an eloquent address with an appeal for help from the pakelias in furthering the work of the Church of England among the Maoris.
