DARGAVILLE INTERESTS
An amount of A: 110 was paid into the account of the Education Department yesterday, with an application for the erection of a building for the local dental clinic. The money was obtained as a result of the activities of the women’s committee, organised by Mesdames A. Gregory and C. L. Bagnall, in numerous socials and other functions, assisted by a very substantial donation from the North Auckland Blacksmiths’ Association. It is hoped that the building will be J completed by .February next. Three oil paintings by the late Louis Frank have been presented to the Dargaville Borough Council by the Hon. Sir Edwin Mitchelson. The pictures are of the TVairau Falls, Dargaville, from the Ivailiu Bridge, and a view of the bridge on the Kaihu Valley railway. They will be hung in the
