The executive of the Tauranga A. and P. Society is working hard in the direction of making a big success of the autumn show, and many new features will be introduced this year. The women’s committee is very active in the home industry classes. * * * The pay-out at tho local dairy factory was la 5d a lb butter-fat, amounting to £ 10,290 for tho month. * * * The new Regent Theatre is nearing completion. It is a commodious concrete building and will seat 3,000. It will be fitted up with a Western Electric talkie machine.
