“THROUGH DIFFERENT EYES” Edmund Lowe and 'Warner Baxter, wlio scored such a sensational success in their first Fox Movietone all-out-door production, “In Old Arizona," are reunited in “Through Different Eyes,” a sensational murder trial story now at the Majestic Theatre. “Through Different Eyes” is also an all-movietone production, but unlike “In Old Arizona” has been made entirely indoors. Mary Duncan is also featured in the Fox Movietone alll-talk-ing picture. The excellent supporting programme of short talkie features includes a novelty act by Rubye Keeler (Mrs. A 1 Jolson); the prologue to “Pagliacci,” by Richard Bonelli, the eminent baritone; a Fox Movietone News; an exhibition of sketching by Bruce Bairnsfather; and, finally, a novelty in sound, a musical comedy entitled “The Belle of Samoa,” starring Lois Moran, Clark and McCullough. Blood-curdling cries, startling shrieks, dull thuds, sepulchral tones and ail the other chilling sounds of a mystery play are promised at the Majestic next Friday, when “The Last Warning," Universal’s newest talking picture, opens there. Laura La Plante is the star. Paul Leni is the director. This pair was the star-director team of “The Cat and the Canary,” a sensational screen mystery play of last season. This year they have added dialogue and sound effects to their capable efforts at spine chilling. Montagu Love, Roy D'Arcy, Margaret Livingston, John Boles, Bert Roach and Burr Mclntosh are in the large cast.
