ATTEMPT ON SAFE
BURGLARS IN LAND-AGENT’S ROOMS UNABLE TO OPEN DOOR Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. Burglars last evening broke into Williamson’s land agent’s rooms in Manchester Street and attempted to open a safe with a hacksaw. The safe contained £IOO. It resisted their efforts and they departed after upsetting the furniture.
