GARDEN FURNITURE

Modern garden furniture is designed for adaptability, comfort and colour effect. Cheery colours that vie with the flowers in the borders are chosen for tents, awnings, canopies, cushions, upholsteries and the enamels used for painting wicker chairs and tables. Lazy people are pampered by the provision of luxurious lounge chairs with extending leg-rests, couch hammocks, beautifully sprung and fitted with comfortable cushions and sheltering, adjustable awnings and ground mattresses on which one can bask full length in the sunshine. Then there are also comfortable lounge chairs in wicker or cane, deck chairs and garden seats of many types with or without canopies, that can be made as luxurious as one wishes by the aid of cushions. To minimise exertion, fitted pockets are devised in upholstery to take magazines, books or anything else required during leisure hours, and adjustable shelves to chairs that will hold refreshments, smoking impedimenta or whatsoever one pleases. Glass-topped tables, fitted with huge sunshades, portable “waggons” on rubber wheels and specially designed china that matches the general colour scheme of the other - accessories, all add to the pleasure of meals in the garden.
