STATEMENT TO BE MADE SOON RECLASSIFICATION MOVE THE SUN’S Parliamentary Reporter PARLIAMENT BLDGS., Monday. A statement on the reclassification of the Post and Telegraph staff should be made in a day or two by the Prime Minister, according to an announcement made by the acting-leader, the Hon. G. W. Forbes, in the House this evening. Mr. Coates asked when the statement would be made, as the Prime Minister recently had promised one shortly. Mr. Forbes said that a deputation from the Post and Telegraph Association had waited on him that day, and had asked for an indication. He had promised to see Sir Joseph Ward and had done so. A statement would be made shortly. Mr. Coates: Tomorrow? Mr. Forbes: Tomorrow or the day after.
