CARGO FROM TASMANIA.—The local office of the Union Company expects the steamer Kaitangata to arrive at Auckland on Thursday from Devonport. Tasmania. No radio has yet been received.

TAHITI FROM ’FRISCO.—Due at Wellington at 4 o’clock this afternoon from San Francisco and way ports, the Union Company’s R.M.S. Tahiti is announced to sail again at 4 p.m. on Thursday for Sydney in continuation of her voyage.

LADY LEWIS COMING.—With a cargo of raw sugar from Cuba for discharge at the Colonial Sugar Company’s works at Chelsea, the steamer Lady Lewis is reported to have left Balboa last Sunday for Auckland, where she is due about November 17.

RARANGA LEAVES NEW PLYMOUTH.—A. S. Paterson and Co. has been advised that the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company’s steamer Raranga left New Plymouth at 11 p.m. yesterday for Auckland, where she is due tomorrow evening. She will later berth at the Queen's Wharf to complete her loading, and is scheduled to clear this port finally on October 29 for New York, Boston, Halifax:, and London, via Panama.

CARGO FROM SOUTH AUSTRALIA. —With cargo from Edithburg, Wallaroo and Adelaide, the Union Company's steamer Kaikorai is to clear Melbourne today *for Auckland direct, thence Portland. New Plymouth, Castlecliff, ‘Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due here about Tuesday next.

MAHENO AT WELLlNGTON.—Telegraphic advice received by the local office of the Union Company states that the intercolonial passenger steamer Maheno arrived at Wellington at 7.50 a.m. today from Sydney. She leaves Wellington at noon on Friday on her return trip to Sydney.

WAI PA HI FOR APIA.—The local office of the Union Company advises that the Island fruit steamer Waipahi, which ar-

rived at Auckland this morning from Lyttelton and Wellington, and berthed at the Central Wharf, sails at noon tomorrow for Apia, Samoa, where she will load fruit for this porL

MOERAKI LEAVES SUVA.—According to a cable message received by tne local office of the Union Company, the passenger steamer Moeraki left Suva last evening for Auckland, where she is due on Friday morning. On arrival at this port the Moeraki undergoes an extensive overhaul and refit.

TOFUA AT SUVA.—Cable advice received by the local office of the Union Company states that the Island passenger steamer Tofua arrived at Suva this morning from Apia, Samoa. She is to leave the Fijian port at noon on Thursday for Auckland, where she is due next Monday.

ULIMAROA AT SYDN EY.—Cable advice received by the local office of Huddart Parker, Ltd., states that the intercolonial passenger steamer Uliniaroa ar- 1 rived at Sydney at 6 a.m. today from Wellington, and leaves again at noon on Friday for Auckland, where she is due next Tuesday, morning. CARGO FROM CANADA.—The local office of the Canadian National Steamships advises that the Canadian Conqueror is to clear Montreal on Friday next with general Eastern Canadian cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Napier. She should arrive here on about December 8. KAWATIRI REPORTS.—According to a radio message received by the local office of the Union Company, the collier Kawatiri is expected to arrive in the stream at Auckland at 5 o’clock tomorrow afternoon for Port Kembla. Later she will berth at the Prince’s Wharf to unload her cargo of coal.

NO RADIO FROM MARISTON.—No radio advice has yet been received by Henderson and Macfarlane from the steamer Mariston, which is expected to arrive at Auckland on Thursday from Makatea with a cargo of phosphates for discharge at Auckland and Lyttelton. On arrival here the vessel will be berthed at the King’s Wharf. TANKER SPONDILUS.—The Shell Company’s motor-tanker Spondilus arrived at ‘Wellington at 7.40 a.m. on Sunday The vessel made a good run qf IS days to Wellington. This is the first visit to New Zealand. The Wairuna will load during the first half of November for Napier, Lyttelton Dunedin New Plymouth and possiblv Auckland. She is to clear Los Angeles on November 14 and is due at Napier on December 9.

CHARTERED 3Y UNION COMPANY. —The Danish motor-ship Indien has been chartered by the Union Company to load cargo at Pacific Coast ports for discharge at Melbourne and Sydney.

PORT DARWIN FROM NEW YORK. — En route from New York to Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin, the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Darwin is reported to have cleared Norfolk, Virginia, last Saturday.

BOSWORTH LEAVES GALVESTON. —The steamer Bosworth. is reported to have cleared Galveston, Texas, last Saturday with a full cargo of sulphur for discharge at Auckland, Geelong, Adelaide and Fremantle. She is due at Auckland about November 23.

NGAKUTA CLEARS GLADSTONE.— According to advice received by the local office of the Union Company, 'the collier Ngakuta left Gladstone, Queensland, at 8 p.m. last Saturday for Auckland, where she is due next Friday. The vessel is bringing a cargo of coal for discharge at this port. RUAPEHU AT SUVA. —Cable advice received by the New Zealand Shipping Company states that the liner Ruapehu arrived at Suva last Sunday from London and Southampton, and is expected to leave again this evening for Wellington, Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, New Plymouth and Auckland. She is due at Wellington next Sunday.

CORINTHIC FROM HOME.—Due at Wellington this afternoon from London and Southampton, the White Star liner Corinthic lands passengers, mails and part cargo there before coming to Auckland to complete discharge and to commence loading for her return voyage. She is due here on October 31 and A. S. Paterson and Company will act as the local agent.

WAIHEMO IN PORT—The Union Company’s cargo steamer Waihemo arrived in the stream at Auckland last evening from San Francisco, and later berthed at the Queen’s Wharf to unload the local portion of cargo before proceeding at 5 p.m. tomorrow to Wellington, Nelson, Melbourne and Sydney to complete discharge. The vessel loaded at Vancouver, New Westminster, Ocean Falls. Powell River, Union Bay and San Francisco. She cleared San Francisco on September 28. Light winds and fine weather prevailed during the passage of 21£ days to Auckland. the fastest trip the vessel has made between the two ports. Captain A. R. Stewart is in command, and the following are the officers:—Chief, Mr. E. A. Cox; second, Mr. J. S. Beaton; third, Mr. C. G. Hill; chief engineer, Mr. J. Hamer; second, Mr. N. Byrne; third, Mr. J. Summers; fourth, Mr. W. Monteith; wireless operator. Mr. S. Waters; chief steward, Mr. W. McDonald.

NORFOLK REPORTS.—According to a radio message received by the local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company, the Federal steamer Norfolk is expected to arrive at Auckland at 9 a.m. on Friday from Liverpool. The vessel which, is bringing West of England cargo for discharge at Auckland. Napier. Wellington. Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers, has been allotted a berth at the Queen's Wharf. TAMAROA SAILING.—At six o’clock this evening the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company's liner Tamaroa is to be dispatched from Auckland for Wellington, where she completes her loading for Home. With passengers and mails, as well as cargo, the vesesl is to clear Wellington finally at 3 p.m. on October 30 for Southampton and London, via Panama. _j
