ENGINE AND LORRY COLLIDE

DRIVER ESCAPES UNHURT From Our Own Correspondent NEW PLYMOUTH, Today. When his lorry was struck by a train at the Cracroft Street level crossing in Waitara yesterday afternoon Mr. J. Dring, the driver, had a narrow escape, being flung clear without being hurt. The lorry was badly damaged, one wheel being torn off and the cab and bonnet twisted and smashed.
