MAJESTIC

“THROUGH DIFFERENT EYES” In “Through Different Eyes,” the sensational mystery picture at the Majestic Theatre, Warner Baxter is killed three different times. The basis of the story may be the

constantly repeated belief that ten eyewitnesses of an episode could not tell two versions alike. Hence the title, “Through Different Eyes,” gives three different versions to a man’s sudden death. Two are conjectures, and one is offered by an actual eye-witness. There is a minimum of courtroom sequences.

Mary Duncan is given three different personalities,, according to the version of the murder being told. Edmund Lowe has the third important role in the all-talking Fox Movietone production.

In addition to the three players already mentioned, the cast includes Natalie Moo.rehead, Earle For.e, Florence Lake, Sylvia Sydney, Nigel de Brulier, and Dolores Johnson. The excellent supporting programme of short talkie features includes a novelty act by Rubye Keeler (Mrs. A 1 Jolson); the prologue to “Pagliacci,” by Richard Bonelli, the eminent baritone; a Fox Movietone News; an exhibition of sketching by Bruce Bairnsfather; and, finally, a novelty in sound, a musical comedy entitled “The Belle of Samoa,” starring Lois Moran. Clark, and McCullough.
