CLICK CLACK CABARET

FAREWELL TO FOOTBALLERS The last big social event to be held in Auckland for the South Sydney Rugby League footballers will be a special farewell night at the Click Clack Cabaret this evening. Dancing will be enjoyed until a late hour, and among the extra attractions will be songs and dances by the Bohemian Duo, and new music by the Click Clack Orchestra.

Coining soon to Auckland is "The Fox Follies of 1929.” It is the first revue to be presented on the screen—a revue that the stage with its limited facilities could not present. Gorgeous ballets, beautiful girls in exotic costumes, lilting music, great concerted choruses, a merry, bright story—that is the “Fox Follies.” It is a wonderful presentation and the screen seems to have excelled itself. Some of the musical numbers included are “Walkin’ With Susie” and “The Breakaway,” the former featuring popular little Sue Carol and that inimitable coloured comedian Stephin Fetchitt; the latter with Miss Carol and David Rollins, and the whole company in "That's You, Baby.”
