REGATTA CREWS
NORTH SHORE OARSMEN TRAINING OPENING ON NOVEMBER 9 November 9 will see the opening „< the rowing season on the North Shore when fours for the President’s Cun will be rowed by the North Shore Rowing Club. a During last week-end the juniors’ and youths’ crews were out training and two crews took a pleasure jaunt as far as Takapuna. The Shore regatta crews are .Tumors: E. Korn (st), F. Eaton (31. 11 McCallum (2), E. Norris (bowl, Souths: E. Korn (stl, B. McCallura (o), A. Cokes (2), C. Oliver (bowl. Heavy maiden: A. Cotes (stl, D. Walsh ( 3 >- A - Lawrence (2). C. Oliver (bowl. The light maiden crew’ is yet to he picked. W. Dean and D. Davies will be the single scullers.
The club will hold a gala function on the evening of Labour Day.
