INCENDIARIST SENTENCED
OFFENCES DUE TO DRINK Press Association TIMARU, Today. The session of the Supreme Court opened this morning, the calendar being light. Ernest Slow, who previously pleatied guilty to a charge of arson, came up for sentence. Mr. Justice Adams said offences due to drink were far too common. It was clear that the prisoner should be segregated, and he was sentenced to reformative treatment for a period not exceeding two years.
