Mr. Stevenson, for defendants, said he might apply for a non-suit later. I do not think I,shall grant it,” said his Honour. “After all,' this is a case where a great deal of evidence lias been taken. lam not'going to express any opinion as to the strength of the plaintiffs’ case.” He added he did not feel disposed to deal with the case on a motion for a non-suit, and would not grant it.

The case was adjourned until this morning.
