Macindoe, who returned from Australia this morning, has been appointed vice-president of the Petroleum Association of Australasia, and _Xexv' Zealand representative on the board. Sir George Julius is the president. Mr. H. I>. Tomlinson. M.A., a senior assistant master at Wellington College, has been appointed principal of the Wairarapa High School in succession to Dr. G. H.
