Pellett; chief steward, Mr. C. Braminer. Mr. A. W. Bagby has rejoined the Kaimai as chief engineer. Mr. A. R. Wickes, chief engineer of the Kaponga, has been granted holiday leave, liis place being taken by Mr. H. Martin. MARISTON'S BERTH.—The steamer Mariston, which is due at Auckland about Thursday from Makatea, will berth at the King’s Wharf to unload the local portion of her phosphates under the agency of Henderson and Macfarlane before proceeding to Lyttelton to complete. AORANGI FOR SYDNEY. —The local office of the Union Company advises that the R.M.M.S. Aorangi, which is due at Auckland on Sunday, November 3, from Vancouver and way ports, leaves again at 5 p.m. on Tuesday. November 5, for Sydney, in continuation of her voyage. SPONDILUS AT WELLINGTON.—The Shell Company’s chartered tanker Spondilus arrived at Wellington from Singapore at daybreak yesterday. The vessel has a bulk of oil cargo and after unloading a quantity at Wellington she will come to Auckland to complete discharge. She is expected to arrive here on Friday next. NORFOLK FROM LIVERPOOL.— Although no radio has been received by the local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company, the Federal steamer Norfolk is expected to arrive at Auckland on Wednesday from Liverpool. She has been allotted a berth at the Queen's Wharf to unload the local portion of her cargo before proceeding to Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton and Port Chalmers to complete discharge.
ROTORUA’S PASSENGERS. —The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Rotorua was dispatched from Wellington on Saturday for Southampton and London, via Panama. In addition to cargo and mail she has on board the following passengers:—Saloon: Miss A. A. R. Anderson, Mrs. Baird, of Coulstoun, Captain W. W. Hender, Miss F. McDonald, Mrs. Patrick, Mrs. D. G. Seats, Miss M. Shirley, and 48 third-class. _ TUTAN EKAI’S MOVEM ENTS.—The Marine Department advises that the Government steamer Tutanekai will leave Bluff tomorrow morning for the West Coast Sounds and Bays, en route to Wellington. The vessel is due there about November 1, and will subsequently visit some of the Cook Strait lighthouses prior to going on her round trip to the Northern lighthouses. She is due at Auckland about the third week in November. PORT HOEART TO LOAD—The C. and D. Line advises that the Port Hobart is fixed to commence loading at New Plymouth on November 20 for London. The vessel will subsequently load also at Napier, Gisborne, Wanganui and Auckland. She .is to sail finally from Auckland on December 10 for London, via Panama. This vessel will load wool at the November sales at Wanganui and Auckland. The Farmers’ Co-op. Auctioneering Company will act as the local agents.
NIAGARA IN PORT.—At G. 45 a.m. today the Union Company’s R.M.S. Niagara arrived in the stream from Sydney, and later berthed at the Prince's Wharf to land passengers, mails, and to load for America. She cleared the New South Wales port last Thursday at 4 p.m., and experienced a good weather passage across the Tasman Sea. The following passengers disembarked at Auckland:—

CGAL FROM PORT KEMBLA.—With a full cargo of coal for discharge at Auckland, the Union Company’s coHier Kawatii i is expected to arrive here on Wednesday from Port Ivembla. KA.ITANGAT A FROM TASMANIA.— The local office of the Union Company advises that the steamer Kaitangata is expected to arrive at Auckland on Thursday from Devonport, Tasmania. NGAKUTA FROM GLADSTONE.—The local office of the Union Company lias been advised that the collier Ngakuta was to leave Gladstone last Saturday with a cargo of coal for Auckland, where she is due about Friday next. WAIPAHI FOR APIA.—Due at Auckland at 6 p.m. tomorrow from Lyttelton and Wellington, the Union Company’s Island fruit steamer Waipahi will now berth at the Central Wharf. On Wednesday she leaves here for Apia, Samoa, to load for Auckland. TOFU A RETURNING.—Having left Apia, Samoa, at 5 p.m. last Friday for Suva and Auckland, the Union Company’s Island passenger steamer Tofua is due at the Fijian port tomorrow. She clears Suva noon on Thursday for Auckland, and should arrive here next Monday. MAUI POMARE SAILING.—The Government motor-ship Maui Pomare, which arrived at Auckland early this morning, and berthed at the King’s Wharf, leaves at 7 o’clock this evening foi* Norfolk Island. Spedding, Limited, is the local agent.
MOERAKI FOR OVERHAUL.—The local office of the Union Company advises that the passenger steamer Moeraki leaves Suva this afternoon for Auckland, where she is due on Friday morning. On arrival here the vessel undergoes an extensive overhaul and survey at this port. MARAMA FROM SYDNEY.—Due at Auckland at 9 o’clock tomorrow morning from Sydney, the Union Companv’s intercolonial passenger steamer Marama will berth about 10 a.m. at the Prince’s Wharf to land her passengers, mails and cargo. At 3 p.m. next Friday she will leave here on her return trip to Sydney.
TAHITI DUE WELLINGTON TOMORROW.—Running late the Union Company’s R.M.S. Tahiti is expected to arrive at Wellington at 4 p.m. tomorrow* from San Francisco via Papeete and Rarotonga. At 4 p.m. on Thursday the vessel leaves Wellington again for Sydney. WAIHEMO DUE TOMORROW.—With Pacific coast cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Nelson, Melbourne and feydney. the Union Company’s cargo steamer Waihemo is due here tomorrow morning from San Francisco. Sim has a berth at the Queen’s Wharf. It is hoped to dispatch the vessel ~a ^nin on Wednesday afternoon for W elhngton. CANADIAN TRANSPORTER CLEARS PANAMA.—With general Eastern Canacargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton. TAMAROA TO COMPLETE.— Efforts are being made by A. S. Paterson and Company to dispatch the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s liner Tamaroa Aucii * an d a t 5 p.m. tomorrow for Wellington, where she will complete her loading, and finally depart at 3 p.m. on October 30 for Southampton and London, via Panama. RARANGA DUE WEDNESDAY.—Advice has been received by A. S Paterson and Company that the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s steamer Raranca, which arrived at New Plymouth this morning from Wellington, leaves again at midnight for Auckland to complete her loading. She is due here on Wednesday morning and is expected to clear this port finally on October 29 for X**w York, Boston, Halifax and London, via Panama.

VINEMOOR DISCHARGING.—To complete discharging her cargo of hardwoods from Bun bury, Western Australia, the motor-ship Vinemoor arrived yesterday morning from Wellington and berthed at King's Wharf. A. G. Frankham. Limited, local agent for the vessel, advises that it is hoped to dispatch her on Friday afternoon next for Honolulu where she will replenish her oil fuel bunkers. From there she will go to the Paci|ie Coast to load timber.
