RIFLE SHOOTING
AUCKLAND CITY CLUB Members of the Auckland City Rifle .Club fired the final round for the trophy donated by the president, Mr. A. T. Patrick, at the 500 and 600 rd ranges on Saturday. With the exception of the top few the scores were not good, the longer range causing a lot of trouble, but with adjusted handicaps the scoring was remarkably even, only four points separating the first and the twelfth man. Spoons were won .by A. J. Pieterson, H. M. Verrall and A. G. Robertson, H. W. Cox and R. C. Russell being counted out. G. 11Hughes won the trophy, with fi' e points, G. P. Birks. J. Cutler, C.
