FINAL MEETING HELD
AUCKLAND ORPHANS’ CLUB At the final .meeting of the 1929 session of the Auckland Orphans’ Club, held on Saturday evening, the president, Mr. J. B. Johnston, conveyed the thanks of the club to the various artists who provided items during the year. Tho club orchestra will give a concert at the Blind Institute on Thursday , and will leave on Saturday to take part in the Rotorua Orphans’ Club s final gathering. On Sunday the orchestra will play at a concert oiven in aid of the children in the Rotorua Hospital suffering from infantile paralysis.
