AUTOMATIC MACHINE SALES

SUNDAY TRADING CHARGE FAILS From Our Own Correspondent DUNEDIN, Today. Two charges, one of selling goods on Sunday and the other of exposing goods for sale on Sunday arising out of the use of an automatic machine for vending photographic films, were dismissed in a reserved judgment given yesterday in the Magistrate’s Court, by Mr. H. W. Bundle, S.M. The charges were preferred against H. and G. K. Neill. The Magistrate said that the first charge involved personal service and must therefore be dismissed. The second of exposing for sale must also be dismissed as the fiilms were hidden in the body of the machine and were not visible.
