“WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND?”
ADVICE TO A BOOTMENDER The other evening a rather interesting little conversation was overheard in a bootmender’s shop. The Bootmender, an elderly man, -obviously had a very bad cold and nerveracking cough. Tie was at the moment attending to a young lady, who regarded his ailments with sympathy. “That won’t do. you know,” sho said. “You ought to get rid of that cough.” “Well,” replied the old gentleman, “what do you recommend?” “Why Baxter’s Lung Preserver, of course,” was the reply, “there is nothing like it.” Baxter’s Lung Preserver is the favourite cough and cold remedy in New Zealand* It is a rich, red, warming, soothing compound that does good from the first dose. “Baxter’s” also possesses unique tonic properties. Get a generous-sized bottle at 2s 6d from any chemist or store, or, better still, purchase the large family size at 4s 6d, and thus provide a safeguard for your family. Bachelors will find the Is 6d bottle handy. —l.
