CAST OF “COCK-EYED WORLD”

In the cast of “The Cock-Eyed World," which centres about the love affairs of two “hard-boiled" marines, played by Victor McLaglen and Edmund Lowe, three beautiful girls are prominent: Lily Damita, as a gorgeous French beauty whom they encounter in a Central American republic. Leila Karnelly, an exotic Russian whom they meet in Russia, and “Fanny." a. real American girl, hard as nails, whom they meet at Coney Island. The selection of Miss Laverty for the American girl sets at rest endless rumours as to who would play the role, with about every beautiful leading player on the screen being mentioned.

Through the medium of Yitaphone, Richard Barthelmess, who stars i ia Weary River," gives the most dramatic performance of his career. Harry Bangdon has started production of his first all-talking comedy under the Hal Roach -M et ro-< loldwynMayer banner. This initial two-reeler is a screen adaptation of the vaudeville act, "The Messenger," in which iha recently toured the I'nited Stats*.
