INQUIRY WELCOMED
administration of l BLIND INSTITUTE board of trustees ready An inquiry into the administration of the Blind institute will be welcomed by the board of trustees. This -was unanimously agreed to by the trustees at a meeting yesterday. It was also resolved that such inquiry be open to the public and the Press. The matter was raised as a result of advice that Mr. Morton Aldis, former secretary to the board, had petitioned Parliament for an inquiry. The A to L Petitions Committee recommended to the House of Representatives that such an inquiry should be held. Mr. Aldis said considerable dissatisfaction existed at the Institute. One grievance was said to be that neither the blind nor contributors to the funds had representation on the board.
