FAREWELL TO LADY ALICE

WOMEN’S SOCIETIES COMBINE Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. A farewell was given to Ladv Alice Fergusson by the Combined \\ omen’s Societies of Wellington last evening. The presidents of 27 societies met her Excellency at the door of the hall, which was crowded. Lady Fergusson spoke briefly, saying that her five years’ residence had been even happier than she could have • hoped. She was leaving with great regret, and there was no danger of her forgetting New Zealand.
