; Instituted for the express purpose lof raising the status of the photographic profession, the second meeting of the Auckland branch of the New Zealand Institute of Photography was held last evening. Officers elected were as follow: President, Mr. T. H. Asche; vice-presi-dents, F. Stewart. F. Tornquist, P. Daws: secretary. Mr. R. Armstrong; treasurer, J. A. Grahame. An executive committee, consisting of all officers, with the power to add, was elected.
