ST. JOHN AMBULANCE
HUNTLY BRANCH INSPECTED Prom Our Otcn Correspondent HUNTLY, Tuesday. The annual inspection of the Huntly branch of the St. John Ambulance Brigade at Huntly took place today by the senior district superintendent for the Auckland district. Mr. F. J. Hutchinson, who was accompanied by the district officer, Mr. A. W. Probert. Superintendent G. Green was complimented on tho efficiency of the corps. Diplomas were presented to Superintendent Green and Sergeant Keir Eo wen. After the inspection the visitors were the guests of the Taupiri Coal Company’s officials and were Shown the intricacies of the mines by the manager of the Taupiri Coal Company’s mine at Rotowaro, Mr. Alex Penman. A visit was then paid to the Glen Afton Collieries.
