FLOOD WATERS RECEDE
TWO BODIES RECOVERED IN NEW SOUTH WALES I GREAT DAMAGE DONE 1 Reed. 10.20 a.m. SYDNEY, Today. After reaching: a critical level, the flood waters of the Hawkesbury River have commenced to recede. The farmers estimate the losses to crops at £25,000. The floods have taken two lives. The body of a boy of three years was ! recovered by the police in ten feet of water at Tenterfield. and the body of a man was taken from a creek near Villawood. A landslide occurred on the south coast line, and railway traffic is suspended. Floods at "Windsor and in the Richmond district have driven scores of people from their homes, which are from 3ft. to 15ft. under water. Furniture is to be seen floating about in j all directions. Vegetable crops have disappeared.
