Eccles, Chemist. __ SCHOLARSHIPS AWLI NG S SCHOLARSHIP. The Trustees under the Will of the late Humphrey Rawlings offer three Scholarships for competition in December next. The Scholarships are tenable for three years, commencing from the first term in the year 1930 and consist of free tuition at either the Auckland Grammar School or King’s College as the parents of the scholars may choose. A maintenance allowance of £lO per annum, payable quarterly, will also be advanced to each scholar. Only boys under the age of twelve years on December 1 next, attending one of the public common schools of the Provincial District of Auckland, and the sons of poor parents, will be eligible for the Scholarship. Applications containing the names and addresses of applicants must be sent, not later than December 1 next, to the Trustees, by whom due notice of the time and place of examination will be given.
