“EVANGELINE”

In playing the maid of Acadia in her new United Artists’ starring play, “Evangeline.” Dolores Del Rio has added impressions of another immortal literary and historical character to her list of screen personalities. By coincident, both “Ramona.” Miss Del Rio's outstanding character of 1928. and “Evangeline,” her dominant screen role in 1929, were peasant girls who found their one great love after years of hardship. ‘‘Evangeline," with Miss Del Rio singing in French and English, is shortly to be released in Auckland.
