RIALTO AND REGENT, EPSOM
“THE VIKINGS” One of the most realistic productions ever presented in Auckland. “The Viking,” is now at the Rialto and Regent, Epsom, Theatres. The film has been photographed entirely in colour, and some remarkable effects have been obtained. The story, which is an epic of a thousand years ago, includes love, adventure, revenge and conquest, and the production promises to be most spectacular. The ever-changing colours of the sea, the shining armour cf the Vikings and their strange crested helmets, have been faithfully reproduced and transferred to the screen. The battles of the Vikings. famous warriors of history, have been celebrated in many stories, but the screen version of their exploits surpasses all previous presentations. \n amusing comedy-drama entitled “You Know What Sailors Are,” heads the supporting programme. A clown band is one of the circus attractions which will be seen and heard in Paramount’s all-dialogue production. “Dangerous Curves,” starring Clara How.
