BILLIARDS IN BRITAIN
McCONACHY AND LINDRUM ARRIVE Australian and N.Z Press Association (United Service) Reed. 10 a.m. LONDON. Monday. Billiards enthusiasts welcomed Walter Lindrum ( Australia) and Clark McConachy (New Zealand) at a luncheon. Lindrum and McConachy will not decide whether to participate in the British billiards championship till the Billiards Association forwards the official conditions.
Both have amended their plans. Their fortnight’s match begins at Glasgow on Wednesday. Then McConachy plays Davis on October 28, and Lincirum plays Smith in London on No vember 25.
